Weather in Pustertal-Val Pusteria

As the day progresses, there will be a pleasant mix of sunshine and cumulus clouds. Föhn winds will pick up along the main Alpine ridge, where the clouds may become slightly thicker at times. Maximum temperatures will range from 10° to 18°.

Sunshine will prevail across the region, with high clouds drifting far above the peaks. After a cold morning, temperatures will rise to 14°/20° in the afternoon.

Wednesday will start off quite sunny. Clouds will increase in the afternoon, and in the evening a cold front will bring widespread rain, strong gusts of wind and a sharp drop in temperature. The snow line will fall below 1000 m. On Thursday, there will be plenty of clouds, accompanied by a strong, cold north wind. Initially, it will snow in the northern and eastern parts of the region; as the day progresses, the snow showers will retreat to the main Alpine ridge. The strong north wind will persist on Friday as well. Still a few snow showers along the border with North Tyrol, whilst further south the sun will make occasional appearances. Saturday is likely to bring a pleasant mix of sun and clouds. The gusty northerly foehn will persist.
